GIRL!!!!!
Todd and I were expecting to have a boy again, probably because Todd comes from a family of all boys, 5 to be exact! Now we will have a boy and a girl! We are excited, but feel like we don't know what to do with a girl, not that we knew what to do with a boy when we had Joel! It will be fun seeing her grow up and use her charm on her Daddy!
A name for this pretty little girl is going to be a hard and long decision for us. I find that boy names are easier to come up with, maybe because we had a boy first who knows. Girl names are just so hard, so hard in fact that Todd and I have only been thinking of boy names up until yesterday! We were throwing around a few girl names last night and it is going to be hard coming up with a name that we both will agree on, but we have tons of time to throw names around and think them through.
This summer we will be moving Joel into a new "BIG BOY" room and getting him ready for his baby sister! Maybe he will be able to say baby sister by the time she is born! :-)
When we were having our anatomy scan sonogram, they switched to the 4-D view and it was amazing! The tec was taking a few pictures to get some good ones and was even patient enough to wait for the baby to move a little so she was in a better position. Here are some of the pictures they gave us!
Profile, with hand on head and a cute little nose!

You guys should get a baby name book from the library. Also, pregnancy.com has a really good baby name finder that we used. It gives the meanings and other ways to spell a name too and then you can save your favorites (in the order you want) with the middle name too!
Just don't use Allison Grace -- that's for our first girl;-) Hopefully she will follow Trey not very long after him;-)
Congratulations Chelsie!!!!!!!!! that's awesome! So weird though because we couldn't really come up with any good boy's names but there were so many girl's names we loved. Though now, I do know the name we would choose if we had a boy.
We have baby name books so it all a basis of deciding. We really are in no hurry and we have plenty of time, we just want the name to fit who she is and capture a little bit of what God has given us through her.
And Katie, I am sorry to tell you but unfortunately you cannot name your son "Trey" because Todd and I have already claimed that name for our second son who will follow shortly after this baby girl, you will have to think of something else. :-)
Thanks Katie! That is so funny we have the opposite problem as you all! Now you can tell me all about how baby girls grow in their first year!!
You know what... we'll just have to let Pj and Todd fight it out;-) Whoever wins, gets to pick both names for your kid and mine!!!;-)
Just kidding! You can use Allison Grace if you want (as long as you don't if we still use it for our next one;-)).
Haha, what about Isla (pronounced "eye-la")? That was my next favorite girl name! It's so pretty!!
Yesssss a girl, SO FUN!!!
haha...we have another boy name...it's Ellis. Kind of...nontraditional. most people kind of wrinkle their nose at it, but I love it. It's a derivative of Elijah. it's either Eloise for a girl or Ellis for a boy. I'm obsessed with El beginnings. Claire's middle name is Elaine.
We're so super excited for you guys!! She will be beautiful and have a perfectly fitting name... and Joel will be an awesome big brother for sure :o) Also... I can't wait for Kate to have a best friend!!!
