Chilli Bowl 2009

The weekend of the superbowl it is tradition in our middle school youth group to have a chilli bowl (play a game of football and then eat some good chilli!)  We had a great turn-out and Joel was even able to come.  He was a bit cold outside, so he only watched part of the game.  But he loved being with the girls and hanging out with them!

Snow!!

We had our first 'real' snow here last week!  It was so nice to see it falling and seeing how Joel liked it for the first time!  We didn't get enough to really cover the grass, but schools were closed for two days!  Here are some pictures from the day!

We had a great day!  Joel even liked sledding...the two feet that he slid in the sled by himself!  Hopefully we will get some more snow before winter is over!!
