Adventure Crawling

Since Joel has not mastered walking yet, he has decided to start another sport first "adventure crawling!!"  I find him places in our little room where he manages to get himself stuck and he is yelling or crying for help out!  Here are some of places I have found him...

The Many Messy Faces of Joel

Dinner time in the Geary household is always fun...or messy should I say.  Joel loves trying to eat with his fork and spoon, but then ends up using his hands and wiping his hands all over his face and hair!  Here are some pics from some very messy dinner we have had!

Birthday Bash!

Our little boy is ONE!  I can't believe how fast the time goes by.  We had a birthday party for Joel on saturday with the fam!  He wasn't quite sure what to do with all the people over at our house at first, but he had a blast playing with his cousins and being the center of attention!  hIS Absolute favorite toy was a ball that he got from Uncle Shawn and Aunt Abby!  He loves it, and chases it around and calls for the "bal bal bal" over and over!  I am sure life is just going to be getting more and more exciting as we start to her more words from him and see him begin to walk and hear his silly humor!

February Happenings

I feel like we have done so much in februrary and then I also feel like we didn't really do a ton either!  lol  We had one very nice weekend so Todd and I decided that we would change the oil in the car that turned out to be more of a project then a quick change!  And we also cleaned our cars!!  Joel and Bella were playing in the grass watching us wash the cars!  I was surprised that Joel pretty much stayed on the blanket we had for him instead of crawling all over the place.  That made cleaning the cars much easier for us!  Here are some pictures.

Nat, Shannon and Graham were able to make it out East for a trip to see family.  It was a lot of fun getting Graham and Joel together and being able to see them.  The cousins had fun playing with each other too!

Joel has turned out to be a very messy eater!  He is now even trying to eat with his fork!  He loves trying to put his food on his fork and then put it in his mouth.  Although we still have to help him a bit with getting it on his fork!  It also makes meal times much longer!!  lol  

I have forgotten what we had for dinner this night...maybe BBQ sandwiches...he is not too happy about having to get his face washed!

Joel is turning One on March 8th!  Crazy, I can't believe he is already one.  We are having a family party for him tomorrow and I will post pictures as soon as I can of him unwrapping his gifts!!  I am sure he will have a blast since he loves getting into everything these days!
